Advanced Education: Redken Foil Placement

Me and another Manning Student attended a Redkin Foil Placement class this morning at Maly's on Grand Ave, Portland OR. It was GREAT!. This class was packed! So much good information. Later when i got to class, I busted out my manikin and tried some of the new things that I learned..It turned out nice.

I'm looking forward to the Pravana class at Cosmoprof at the end of this month!

Beyonce's been photog'ed wearing something 'New" Minx nails. They are nail color and patterns strips that you smooth on to your nails. nails.
Thing is I've seen these in the Avon catalog for some time. They are called Instant Dry Manicure's. I have not tried either one..I love my acrylics!!

Last year I missed out on a lot of deals because I got there late (my own fault) and I did not know what to buy. I missed the good stuff in the bargain center..which by all accounts was AWESOME! I missed some of the shows/classes I wanted to attend. The ones I did get to were great! Also I spent to much money on things I didn't need..uh..like make-up. Well I've made a list! I am going to wheel and deal, attend all the classes I can and get there early for the bargain center!

2009 Student Day of Success

Here it is again! This is an annual student only cosmetology competition. It's fun and participation looks good on your resume..ok but not as good as winning. I know of one former Phagans student who won last years Women's Hair Cut even who is now working in a salon called Evolution in Portland's Pearl District! for more info click here.
